The Secretary General of the National Advisory Board on Research Ethics and the Secretary General of the Committee for the Public Information, both nominated by the Ministry of Education, have their offices at the Federation of Finnish Learned Societies

The Federation also houses the administration of the Nordic Committee on Bioethics.
