Long history and strong status in the field of science
Journal Tieteessä tapahtuu started off as a members' newsletter in 1983. Over the years, it has grown into a respected scholarly journal and gained an established position in the Finnish field of science. It has also been presented with the Vuoden laatudigi ('Quality digital media of the year') award. It enjoys journalistic independence and complies with the Journalist's Guidelines.
